While Evan Cater of Allmusic called "Caught a Lite Sneeze" the "most accessible song on an extremely challenging and esoteric album" and, as a result, chosen as Pele's lead single "by default", he also noted that the track was "hardly the most listener-friendly song Tori Amos [has] written".[1]
